Child Guidance & Family Solutions (CGFS) was approved for funding from the State of Ohio with the enactment of Am. Sub. HB 2. The funding will improve client access to mental health services through capital projects. We would like to thank Governor DeWine, our Summit County Legislative Delegation and in particular, State Representative Bill Roemer (R-Richfield), State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) and State Senator Vernon Sykes (D-Akron).

Specifically, CGFS will receive $850,000 to construct trauma-informed clinical welcome centers, renovate outdoor treatment spaces, and modernize technology to streamline patient information with other healthcare entities.

"We are deeply grateful to the Summit County Legislative Delegation for their vital role in securing this essential funding for our organization," said Karen Talbott, President & CEO of Child Guidance & Family Solutions. "These capital funds will assure expanded and convenient service accessibility. This financial support is critically important given the heightened mental health needs of children and families today.”
