Psychiatry
Our board-certified psychiatrists and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. An initial psychiatric evaluation and ongoing assessments and appointments help build an individualized and thorough treatment strategy. We offer group therapy and other psychiatry services to provide comprehensive and up-to-date treatment plans to children, teens, adults and their families.
Early Childhood Programs
Our mental health professionals are committed to helping from the very start with our early childhood programs including:
- Incredible Years® (IY®)
- Toddlers and Preschoolers Succeeding (TAPS)
- Individual Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECHM)
- Building Resilience in Children (BRIC)
School-Aged Children
Child Guidance & Family Solution therapists and therapeutic behavior support specialists provide counseling, case management and crisis intervention on-site at the school. Our school-based mental health services not only help students but provide support to school staff and parents by providing education to prevent suicide, intervention in crisis situations and more.
Mental Health Services for Teens
We continue our care of Northeast Ohio teens through our mental health services for teens with individual mental health counseling and therapy and our FIRST program for individuals who have just experienced the first episode of psychosis.
Mental Health Counseling
Child Guidance & Family Solutions mental health counseling services help children, teens, and their families facing emotional, behavioral and social difficulties in-person or with telehealth sessions to provide individual therapy, individual counseling, or crisis intervention services.
Mental Health Services for Parents & Caregivers
Our mental health services also help adults, specifically parents and caregivers through challenging times with individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.
We also treat the entire family by treating youth with severe emotional problems within the home, avoiding out-of-home placements with co-occurring home-based treatment and intensive home-based services.
